BBC has released a new trailer showcasing their upcoming Autumn/Winter slate of programs, which includes a few new snippets of footage from the upcoming Sherlock Christmas Special.

Not much is known about the plot of the Sherlock special, but we do know the special will be a standalone story, separate from the previous 3 seasons, and it is set in Victorian London. The trailer below starts off with a pipe-smoking Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch) saying, “From the beginning then.” Around the thirty-second mark, Holmes and his loyal sidekick Dr. Watson (Martin Freeman) step out of a horse-pulled carriage.
