Veteran TV actor Chad L. Coleman is making his return to pop culture relevance this fall, but it may not be how you expect it.

The actor, known for playing "good guy" roles on The Wire and The Walking Dead, is set to appear as the villainous gangster, Tobias Church, on Arrow. On Tuesday morning, Coleman appeared on KTLA 5, in Los Angeles, to talk about his role.

He revealed that it was tough making the transition to an antagonist, as it was really the first time he played a character that wasn't lovable. He also mentions how fun it is to try and take on a different kind of character.

When describing how evil his character is, Coleman had a word for fans:

"No more Mr. Nice Tyreese."

After joking about the fitness, and good looks of Arrow star Stephen Amell, the station ran a clip of Coleman in the season premiere. Check it out here.

Coleman has definitely channeled his inner bad-ass for this role, and this video definitely proves it. After a meeting has seemingly gone wrong, Tobias Church takes to intimidating, and beating down, a rival gangster. It definitely looks like The Green Arrow is going to have his hands full with Coleman this season.

After the clip, the hosts try and pul one over on Chad with a surprise question. They ask him if he would rather be stuck in an elevator with a Walking Dad fan, or an Arrow fan.

Thinking quickly, and not wanting to upset either fanbase, Coleman had a great response:

"Too Soon!"

Season Five of Arrow premieres on Wednesday, October 5 at 8pm ET on The CW.
