Dragon Ball Super screenwriter Toshio Yoshitaka has given fans a little more information about Goku's upcoming, much-anticipated transformation.

The new form, which was only recently released, has been heavily talked about by Dragon Ball fans as the Tournament of Power rages on. So far, there is no set date for when fans will see Goku's new power up in action, but it should be soon.

Toshio was asked on Twitter about the new form's name, but he was reluctant to give the name of the Goku's new form. He did, however, tell fans that, "It's a name beyond our imagination." Toshio also confirmed that the Dragon Ball Super team had a meeting to discuss Goku's new form, with him describing it as "cool."

Toshio later praised the creative genius that Akira Toriyama is, with fans now only further looking forward to seeing Goku unlock his new transformation. It's unknown what this form will be called and even if it will be another level up from Super Saiyan God. Many fans believe that his white eyes may indicate that he has tapped into the powers of a Kai, as Goku's eyes look quite similar to Zamasu's.

Goku's new form with his battle-torn clothes and angry expression shows fans that he means business now, with the form said to be linked to anger. The aura surrounding Goku makes fans quite curious as well, as there seems to be blue and red in it. This indicates that Goku may be accessing multiple forms of Super Saiyan at the same time. However, this is all still speculation as no further information other than the image has been officially released.

Dragon Ball Super's "Universal Survival" saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST, and Toonami airs the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
