Goku vs Jiren Battle (Spoilers)
Here's a little more of what's been revealed about Goku and Jiren's fight. As you may guess, some of it can be considered SPOILERS.
We know that during his battle with Jiren, Goku will be go SSB and attack with a Kaio-Ken x20 as well as the Spirit Bomb. Neither of those attacks will be strong enough to stop Jiren - and maybe not even damage him, if these latest translations are to be believed! Jiren's unbelieavable power level will shock the Tournament of Power combatants - especially Vegeta!
Out of the dilemma of how to defeat Jiren, we will finally see Goku achieve his new transformation in order to bring the fight to Jiren. However, just because Goku unlocks a powerful new form doesn't mean he'll automatically achieve victory against Jiren!
We've already broken down the theory of why Goku's new form may actually leave him more vulnerable than ever, as evidence by translations for the Dragon Ball Super episodes coming after the two-part event. Take a look at that, and let us know what you think @ComicbookNow!
Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami will begin airing the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
