Good news, Dragon Ball Super fans! Funimation today released, after much teasing, that the anime dub will be premiering on its streaming service FunimationNow very soon.

Prior to this announcement, the only legal way to watch the English dub of Dragon Ball Super was via Toonami. As in, interested fans had to watch it on TV rather than stream it online. According to Funimation's Twitter account, 39 dubbed episodes will premiere on FunimationNow on December 5th.

Additionally, further dubbed episodes are scheduled to release on FunimationNow in 13-episode batches two weeks after the last episode in the batch airs on Toonami. While not exactly a simulcast, that's still not too long of a wait, all things considered.

Dragon Ball Super's "Universal Survival" arc is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturday evenings at 7:15 p.m. CT. Adult Swim airs the English dub during its Toonami block Saturday evenings at 11:30 p.m CT.
