Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side Of Dimensions Releases New Sneak-Peek Featuring Joey

Prepare your feelings, Yu Gi Oh! fans. In just a few weeks, the beloved franchise will be making a nostalgic return to theaters with its newest movie. Yu Gi Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions will reunited Yugi with friends Joey and Tea as they find themselves dueling against a dangerous foe. Now, a brand-new clip of the film has hit the Internet, and it shows Joey Wheeler in the best light possible. Well, mostly.

The shot clip shows Joey frantically pedaling on his bicycle as he tries to get to school. The scatter-brained character can be seen weaving in and out of crowded streets as he tries to avoid being late for school. The poor guy even gets accidentally drenched in water thanks to his speeding habits, and Joey feels rather stupid when he knocks over a police officer on his bike ride to school. When the uniformed man asks Joey whether he even knows the speed limit, the boy says he was going too fast to read the sign.

Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side Of Dimensions will screen in U.S. theaters on January 27, 2017. In Spring 2017, a new Yu-Gi-Oh! anime is also set to hit televisions thanks to TV Tokyo. The new series will follow a hero named Yūsaku Fujiki as he enters the dangerous world of Duel Monsters.
