Naruto has been around for well over a decade, and the franchise is still trucking along.

The series may have ended its primary manga already, but a spin-off is underway along with its anime. Naruto Shippuden is getting ready to bid fans farewell have years on air, but a sequel show will take its place days later. So, as a new era dawns upon the Naruto fandom, it is time fans looked back and paid respect to how awesome the series has been.

Over its course, Naruto Uzumaki and his comrades have taken on some insane villains and made up even crazier offenses. The catalog of secret jutsu has likely doubled if not tripled since the hero’s class graduated the academy.

Sexy no Jutsu

This list’s first is always a classic – and it is the one jutsu Naruto knew was a knockout. Seriously, it even made the Third Hokage pass out. Titled Sexy no Jutsu, the scandalous jutsu is one that Naruto uses to manipulate perverted opponents into losing a match via excessive nose bleeds. While the jutsu is not physically strong, it is clever and one that Naruto made up out of his own prankster genius. So, for that, fans of Naruto will also rank it as one of the hero’s best.

Susanoo

Not only does Susanoo sound cool, but it also one of the most intense defensive techniques Naruto has ever introduced – and that’s accounting for Gaara’s sand. The intimidating technique can only be used by selective Mangekyo Sharingan users, and Sasuke learned how to use the genetic gift to its fullest. Susanoo essentially places a chakra barrier around its user, protecting it from just about everything while it’s body also strikes back. Sasuke lets himself stand in the center of the guard, avoiding hits with absolutely no effort. And, all the while, the Uchiha is able to perform other jutsu from inside his nest.

Kamui

Kakashi may not have the best grip on his emotions, but he is not a ninja to trifle with. The Copy-Cat Ninja is renowned for his extensive skills and control over the Sharingan despite his non-Uchiha lineage. In Naruto, fans watched as the tardy teacher eventually revealed the true power of his Mangekyo Sharingan and introduced Kamui. The jutsu is undeniable cool as the space-time technique allows Kakashi to transport any object to and from an alternate dimensions. The technique even lets the user transport themselves with enough practice, making it so that they are all but untouchable in battle.

Chidori

Fans can thank Kakashi for creating Chidori, but it is Sasuke who brought the jutsu to a whole new level. The dangerous technique was taught to the young Uchiha prior to the Chunin Exams, so Sasuke learned how to make a chakra-ladened hand turn into a lightning blade. The traumatic jutsu can cause lethal damage if its strikes its opponent, but it requires a lot of prep work and timing. So, when Sasuke ditched Konoha to train with Orochimaru, the boy learned how to mobilize the Chidori’s effect by funneling it into a sword. Yikes.

Rasengan

If you are talking about Naruto and jutsu, then there is no way you can avoid the Rasengan. The technique is an impossibly difficult A-ranked jutsu created by the Fourth Hokage himself. But, for fans, they will recognize the move as Naruto’s signature jutsu. The strong-headed boy is taught the move by Jiraiya, and Naruto gained some much-needed confidence after learning the jutsu. The Rasengan is essentially a concentrated ball of violently rotating chakra that obliterates all that’s in its way. Kakashi has even said the move outperforms his Chidori, and Naruto went on to improve upon the jutsu later on in the anime by adding wind chakra to it.
