Amazon Celebrates Holidays with Big Anime Deal of the Day

December has arrived, and the holiday season has come along with it. So, if you are looking to score gifts for the anime fan in your life, Amazon has your back and wallet in mind today with its Deal of the Day.

If you head over to Amazon, you will find the retailer has instated its 12 Days of Deals. The event kicked off at the start of December, and its third day has got anime fans feeling good.

As you can see here, a slew of select anime Blu-rays and DVDs are currently on sale for the holidays. Fans will be able to find every walk of anime from Cowboy Bebop to Summer Wars and even Trigun.

Looking at the list, there are some real gems slashed for sale. All of the home videos are at least 30% off, but a few are more than 60% discounted. Right now, fans can score High School DxD BorN: Season Three for a whopping 65% off to make it a measly $23 USD. High School DxD New: The Series is also slashed in price as its priced is down to $20 from its usual $44.

If ecchi isn’t your style, there are plenty more deals going on at Amazon. Code Geass: LeLouch of the Rebellion R2 is on sale in its entirety, and its price tag is slashed 64% to make it under $20. Since the Blu-ray usually retails for about $50, anime fans are ready to buy into the deal while its here.

There are also plenty of films tied into this Deal of the Day. Wolf Children can be yours for $12 and Summer Wars is retailing for the same. In fact, acclaimed director Mamoru Hosoda has several films of his included in this sale as The Girl of Leapt Through Time is included along with The Boy and the Beast. So, if you’re ready to check out films from one of Japan’s top visionaries, then Amazon is here to educate you on all things animation.

Oh, and there are some clearly iconic series caught up in this deal as well. If you have yet to finish your shonen gauntlet, you can add an important part of its run to your Blu-ray collection now. Dragon Ball GT can be bought in full for under $25 if you're feeling up to the challenge, and other series collections for Cowboy Bebop, Soul Eater, and Samurai Champloo are also on that list.
