Anime is known for looking toward the future, whether that be for the better or worse. Fans of the medium get to experience dystopian cities, giant fighting robots, and loads of creative technology and gadgets. Some of this technology is within grasp, or has already been created, but there are some gadgets that we can only hope and dream to have in real life.

One of the things that makes anime such a unique and popular form of art is the unique ability to be able to create anything. Anime creators have the ability to create their own worlds filled with technology and magic that would be impossible to do in real life.

We here at ComicBook are diving into some of the fandom's best technology that we wish we had in every day life. From time machines, magic capsules, to robots, here are the top future tech seen in anime that we want in real life.

Three Dimensional Maneuver Gear

This awesome technology from Attack On Titan is one of the coolest ways to get around. The three dimensional maneuver gear was invited to give humans the ability to fight the giant monster Titans, but who wouldn't want to fly around with one of these bad boys. The gear is supposedly very difficult to control, but once the user gets the hang of the awesome attachable zip-lines, the mobility and fun is limitless.

Don't lie, almost everyone has dreamed of controlling a giant robot. Nothing would be cooler than sitting inside and controlling the giant technological gadget that is an Eva from Neon Genesis Evangelion. The giant controllable bodies came from giant monster humans called "Angels" that were attempting to destroy the earth. These technological carcass shells were rewired to be be used and controlled by humans. Who wouldn't want to run, fly, or fight in a giant robot like machine.

This invention from Dragon Ball is one of the most creative and useful on the list. These mind-blowing and gravity defying little devices would make many issues in the world disappear. The Hoi-Poi Capsules have the ability hold anything of any size, in the mobility and ease of a tiny pill. You would never be without a car, house, or anything again. It would make moving stupid easy, camping a blast, oh and all you need to travel is your capsule box. This invention is super creative and many would pay big money for these little magic capsules in real life.

Psycho Pass has some of the coolest anime technology ever depicted. Set in a dystopian future where crime is predicted, and your emotions and feelings are always being surveyed by the government, this series showed the good and bad of future technology. But one piece of technology that would be awesome to own is the hologram servant that the main character has in her apartment. Candy is a hologram servant that can literally do anything, think of it as a glorified Siri with a personality and body. From picking out an outfit for you, planning your schedule for the day, or even just being there to talk to about what's going on in your life, it would be cool to have a holo servant to take care of your every need daily. Not to mention the pink jellyfish is one of the cutest things ever floating around the apartment.

Steins;Gate's Rintarou Okabe is one of the best mad scientists in the anime world. As a mad scientist he has come up with all sorts of zany inventions in his lifetime, but incredible gadget tops our list as the most incredible gadget of all time and one that we want in real life. The Phone Microwave transcends time and space, but its not just food he can send back in time, the gadget can also send text messages to the past as well. Think about how valuable it would be to send a text to warn yourself about something, or you could potentially change the whole world with some well placed texts to important people in history.
