Attack on Titan season 2 took a while to hit fans screens, with the second season's brief stint being disappointing to many fans, as they had waited years for a mere 12 episodes. However, season 3 is expected to be released in 2018, which is a lot quicker than what it took season 2 to premiere.

With that now said, the creators of the series continue to showcase the upcoming season with new sketches. As a result, Kyoji Asano recently released a colorful sketch of some of the Survey Corps, who will feature in the upcoming season.

This sketch released by Asano showcases Eren Yeager, Levi Ackerman, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlet, Ymir, Erwin Smith, Reiner Braun and Bertolt Hoover. However, this sketch as well as many of the other released on Twitter, all showcase the enemy.

In season 2 of Attack on Titan it was revealed that Ymir, Bertolt, and Reiner were Titans and from an unknown place outside of the walls. In addition, they were the ones responsible for the original breach of the walls in season one and have been disguised as Survey Corps ever since.

It is unusual that they continue to be drawn with the other Survey Corps after their mission was revealed to fans. However, all sketches of the Survey Corps since season 2 have showcased the three former allies.
