If you still can’t believe Attack on Titan is back, then you better get grounded fast. After a long wait, Wit Studio finally premiered the second season of Attack on Titan last weekend. The first episode set the groundwork for what is sure to be a riveting season with political overtones, and the Beast Titan’s arrival left fans slack-jawed. Next week, Attack on Titan will continue with its normal screening schedule, and fans can get a peak of what the show has to offer thanks to a new preview.

The second episode of season two is titled “I’m Home,” but the story will be far from heart-warming. After the loss of a favorite character, the Survey Corps is out in full force. Titans have now appeared within Wall Rose, and the 104th Cadet Corps is sent to alert residents. Sasha is even sent to warn her hometown, but the return isn’t one which will leave fans laughing.

If you are not familiar with Attack on Titan, then you should know the popular anime is renowned for its intense action and gritty storylines. The anime follows a boy named Eren Yeager in an alternate world overrun by massive creatures known as Titans. These mindless beasts have all but wiped out humanity, and mankind is left to cower in fear behind massive walls.
When their sanctum is infiltrated by a slew of Titans, Eren and his friends Armin and Mikasa join the military to help eradicate the blood-thirty monsters. But, as they grow older, they learn that the beasts are not what they appear as long-held government conspiracies make themselves known.
