'Attack On Titan' Season 3 Poster Released

It has only been a few months since Attack on Titan wrapped its second season, but Wit Studio is already looking into the third. Earlier today, the company confirmed the anime will return next summer to premiere its next episodes, and the third season even got a key visual to go along with the announcement.

So, if you’re ready for your first look at season three, you can check out the image below.

As you can see, the visual for Attack on Titan’s next season is a stunning one. Three people can be seen standing in a massive room carved from reflective crystals. A large pillar is shown standing in the middle of the cavern, and Eren Jaeger is seen kneeling on top of it with no shirt on. The Titan Shifter has his arms chained on both sides, but an ally seems to be below him.

If you look at the pillar’s base, you will find Captain Levi standing with his maneuver gear at the ready. The surly soldier is shown standing in a brace pose, and his head is cocked to the side just far enough to see the man standing behind him.

While fans cannot see the third figure’s torso, they can see the man is mimicking Levi’s pose. The character has his feet spread apart and has some rather interesting weaponry. Fans can see the figure appears to wield a gun as well as a different type of vertical maneuvering equipment.

So far, there is no exact date connected to Attack on Titan’s upcoming premiere, but fans can expect to learn more once the new year comes in.

If you are not familiar with Attack on Titan, then you should know the popular anime is renowned for its intense action and gritty story lines. The anime follows a boy named Eren Yeager in an alternate world overrun by massive creatures known as Titans.

These mindless beasts have all but wiped out humanity, and mankind is left to cower in fear behind massive walls. When their sanctum is infiltrated by a slew of Titans, Eren and his friends Armin and Mikasa join the military to help eradicate the blood-thirty monsters. But, as they grow older, they learn that the beasts are not what they appear as long-held government conspiracies make themselves known.
