10 Best Anime to Binge on Crunchyroll in October 2025

Now that September has come to an end, anime fans bid farewell to the Summer 2025 anime series and prepare to welcome the highly anticipated Fall season. The Fall 2025 anime season has a whole bunch of exciting sequels and new series lined up for fans, most of which will be released in the first week of October. While 2025 has been an overall impressive year for anime fans, the upcoming season is expected to be the best one so far, with the return of One Punch Man, Spy x Family, and My Hero Academia with new seasons.

As always, Crunchyroll, the largest streaming hub for anime fans across the globe, will add most of these new series when they drop. However, the new series will drop one episode each week, which isn’t ideal for viewers who enjoy binge-watching. If you’re looking for new series to stream, our list of 10 anime series will keep you entertained for the entire month.

10) Jujutsu Kaisen

Based on Gege Akutami’s Weekly Shonen Jump series, Jujutsu Kaisen is set to return with its third season in Winter 2026. The story follows Yuji Itadori, a high school student who spends his after-school hours with the two members of the Occult Club. However, their curiosity about strange objects lands them in trouble when they accidentally remove the seal from a special-grade cursed object. Megumi Fushiguro, a mysterious teenager on a mission to secure the object, arrives too late to stop it from being unsealed.

Although confused by the existence of curses and supernatural occurrences, Yuji does everything he can to save his friends. In a desperate attempt, he swallows the object to gain its power, awakening Ryomen Sukunaโ€”the strongest sorcerer in historyโ€”whose spirit is bound to the finger. Becoming the first person in over a millennium to act as Sukuna’s vessel, Yuji must do everything he can to contain the powerful entity and locate the remaining fingers. He soon enrolls at Jujutsu High in Tokyo alongside Megumi to learn everything about the world of Jujutsu.

9) Witch Watch

This heartwarming and hilarious anime is based on Kenta Shinohara’s Weekly Shonen Jump hit manga of the same name. The story follows Morihito Otogi, who is secretly an ogre, an ancient race of beings produced after witches married their familiars. Although Morihito appears to be an ordinary high school boy, hiding his supernatural strength often lands him in trouble, even though he never has any intention to pick a fight with anyone. He reunites with his childhood friend, Nico Wakatsuki, a young witch who had to leave town and stay in the Witches’ Holy Land to train for years.

Nico plans to do anything she can to claim Morihito as her familiar, unaware that her mother has secretly made a request with the Otogi family to keep her safe. Although reluctant to share a roof with the overenthusiastic Nico, Morihito accepts the suggestion after learning that her life will be in grave danger a year from now. The story continues as Nico fits into human society again, while Morihito does everything in his power to keep her safe.

8) Dandadan

Dandadan concluded its second season in September 2025, so now is the perfect time to catch up on this eccentric supernatural series. The story follows Momo Ayase, a high school girl who believes in the existence of ghosts despite never seeing one, because her grandmother is a spiritual medium. She crosses paths with Ken Takakura (Okarun), an introverted boy who catches her attention since he has the same name as her favorite actor. Okarun, from her grade, researches beings from outer space but denies that ghosts are real.

In order to prove each other wrong, the two make a bet, only to get tangled up in all kinds of dangerous situations. Although they proved both ghosts and aliens are real and even awakened new powers thanks to it, their mundane life is over for good since they keep running into one trouble after another. As the story continues, they learn more about their powers and use them to fight anything that threatens the people close to them.

7) Apocalypse Hotel

One of 2025’s most underrated and best anime series, Apocalypse Hotel, is set in the year 2157, long after humanity abandoned Earth due to its toxic atmosphere. Although most of civilization has been lost, Gingarou Hotel, a luxury establishment in Tokyo, still functions to this day. The hotel that was once famous for its hospitality hasn’t seen a new customer in decades. Even so, the hotelier robots still function to this day, working tirelessly to keep the hotel in the best condition.

Yachiyo, the robot manager, fulfills her duties, hoping that one day humanity will return to Earth. Although the story follows robotic characters, their loneliness and dedication to work leave a sense of underlying sadness as we gradually learn more about the broken world. Apocalypse Hotel is an original anime by CygamesPictures, but a manga adaptation was also released in April, the same month as the anime’s debut.

6) Fire Force

Based on Atsushi Ookuboโ€™s manga, Fire Force’s anime adaptation is all set for its grand finale as Season 3 Cour 2 is scheduled for Winter 2026. The series has one of the best world-buildings, power systems, overpowered characters, and layers of mysteries in modern Shonen. The story is set in a world where spontaneous human combustion turns people into fiery monsters called Infernals, who lose their sense of self and cause chaos. Itโ€™s the job of specialized fire soldiers, known as the Fire Force, who are responsible for fighting those monsters and putting them to rest.

Almost all the soldiers have pyrokinetic abilities, allowing them to control and manipulate flames in unique ways. Shinra Kusakabe, a young firefighter rookie with a tragic past, plans to uncover the truth behind the fire that killed his family 12 years ago. He joins the Special Fire Force Company 8 to catch the perpetrator, but the truth may be a lot more than he can handle.

Technically speaking, Link Click is a donghua, a term used for Chinese animation, and it has gained popularity over the years. This mystery series follows Xiaoshi Cheng and Guang Lu, who work in a small shop called “Time Photo Studio.” While their work appears to be fairly simple, the shop also provides a special service where the duo uses their special powers to enter photographs and grant the clients’ requests as long as they don’t include tinkering with the past.

While Xiaoshi has the ability to enter a photo and take over the body of the person who took it, Guang navigates the past by looking at the pictures. He guides Xiaoshi the entire time to accomplish their goals. However, leaving the past untouched is more difficult than the boys realized, and even one wrong move could have grave consequences. The series has released two seasons so far, and the third has been confirmed for 2026.

4) Dr. Stone

Based on the award-winning manga by Riichiro Inagaki (story) and Boichi (art), Dr. Stone will also reach its conclusion in 2026 with the third cour of its Season 4. This post-apocalyptic story is set 3700 years into the future after a mysterious green light appeared in the sky and petrified the entire human population, marking the end of modern civilization. Senku Ishigami, a genius high school student and an aspiring astronaut, wakes in a stone world completely alone after maintaining his consciousness the entire time.

He learns the key to depetrification and helps his friend Taiju wake up from his slumber. While the trick to depetrifying someone is easy, gathering resources to create a revival fluid is another matter entirely. Even so, Senku plans to use his knowledge of science to revive humanity and rebuild civilization, and for that, he needs more allies on his side.

3) Spy x Family

Based on Tatsuya Endo’s beloved Shonen Jump+ series, Spy x Family will return with its third season on October 4th, 2025, so now is the perfect time to catch up on the series. The story follows Twilight, the best spy in Westalis, who has been working day and night from the shadows to maintain the fragile peace with Ostania after a devastating war. His latest mission, Operation Strix, requires him to get close to his target, Donovan Desmond, chairman of the National Unity Party of Ostania and a suspected warmonger.

However, Donovan is known for being a recluse, and he only attends social gatherings at Eden Academy for his eldest son. Only parents of Imperial Scholars are allowed access to the event, so Loid must create a fake family and achieve his goal, but relying on civilians is a lot harder than he thought.

2) Demon Slayer

Although the latest Infinity Castle film hasnโ€™t begun streaming on Crunchyroll yet, the platform already offers all previous seasons and the Infinity Train film for fans. The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy whose entire family was slaughtered while he was away from home. The only survivor is his sister, Nezuko, who has been turned into a demon. Determined to find a cure for her, Tanjiro carries her through the snowy forest, where he encounters a mysterious Demon Slayer, Giyu Tomioka.

Although Giyu initially intends to kill Nezuko, he changes his mind after seeing the siblingsโ€™ potential. He sends them to a trainer and sets Tanjiro on the path to becoming a Demon Slayer, giving him a chance to track down the demon responsible and possibly restore his sister.

1) Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End

Based on the acclaimed manga by Yamada Kanehito (story) and Tsukasa Abe (art), the first season of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End became one of the highest-rated anime shows of all time. The series is scheduled to return with Season 2 in Winter 2026, continuing the journey. The story is melancholic, with underlying themes of grief and the fleeting nature of time. It begins after the conclusion of an epic journey that saw the Demon King defeated by the Heroโ€™s party led by Himmel. Frieren, an elven mage who has lived for over a thousand years, was one of the party members who traveled with the group for ten long years.

While a decade is significant to humans, it is just a fleeting moment in Frierenโ€™s never-ending life. However, she realizes too late that her journey with the Heroโ€™s party has changed her completely. Filled with regret for not getting to know Himmel better, she embarks on a journey to the northern end of the continent, Aureole, where the souls of the dead rest. Accompanied by Fern, her apprentice mage, and Stark, an aspiring hero, Frieren revisits all the places she explored with her previous party, learning the importance each moment holds in her life.
