'Bleach' Finally Animates [SPOILER'S] Bankai

Bleach is known for lots of things, but its all-out fights never fail to impress. Ichigo Kurosaki stunned shonen fans with his impressive Zanpakuto and Bankai, but audiences never got to see one Soul Reaper's final attack - until now, that is. Thanks to Bleach: Brave Souls, fans can now see what Shunsui Kyoraku's deadly Bankai looks like in action.

As you can see here, Bleach: Brave Souls streamed a new trailer for its upcoming arc. The mobile game will soon adapt part of Bleach's 'Thousand-Year Blood War' arc, and its story mode has animated some rather important thing. The trailer begins with Shunsui activating his Bankai, and fans can see just how breathtaking it is.

Just, don't just the attack by its pretty colors. The Bankai is a very lethal one, and Shunsui knows how to use it.

While the Bleach anime never got to animate Shunsui's Bankai, the manga did get around to it in its final arc. Shunsui uses his Bankai when he faces off with some vengeful Quincy, and fans watched as the captain unleashed his magnum opus. As for the Bankai's name, Bleach refers to it as Bones of Heavenly Blooming Madness: Withering pine Lovers' Suicide. The name is a mouthful, but it is very apt.

In the manga, Shunsui admits he does not use his Bankai unless he knows his comrades are far enough away that they won't see its awful effects. The attack begins by overshadowing Shunsui and his enemy, darkening the area around the fight and given the location a tangible feeling of dread. The Bankai then works in levels with the first being shared injuries; Any wound which appears on Shunsui will appear on his opponent and vice versa.

Level two gets rather bloody. The next step makes black spots appear on Shunsui's enemies which bleed profusely. The third level then drowns Shunsui and his opponent in water, forcing the pair to hold out before the fourth level comes in. The final step occurs when Shunsui winds a white thread around his enemy's neck after sheathing his words. The captain then pulls the rope taut, slashing his opponent's throat and basically blowing their head to smithereens.

Yeah, it's pretty gruesome. Nobody should ever want to get in the way of Shunsui's Bankai. And, if they do, the poor fighter better pray they go quickly.
