'Boruto' Animator Shares Sketch Of Kisame's Successor

In the most recent episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, fans got to see a familiar face, however; it wasn't who they thought it was. In the most recent episode of Boruto, the Konoha students went to the Hidden Mist village, which had received a big upgrade since the end of Naruto Shippuden. However, Boruto still stumbled upon someone from the village's dark days.

The village looked at peace and nothing like the old Hidden Mist village that was once known as the "Bloody Mist." However, not all is as peaceful and happy, as it seems. Iwabee disappeared, as he obviously has something against the village and Boruto decided to go after him with the help of Denki.

When Boruto and Denki found Iwabee, there was someone who looked very similar to a certain Akatsuki member. In this episode, Boruto and his friends were confronted by a member of the Hoshigaki Clan, which is the clan Kisame was from.

This is the first time fans have seen anyone else from this clan, with the entire group looking a little fishy. His name is Shizuma Hoshigaki and he is a supporter of the old Hidden Mist village. You can check out the image released by Boruto's animation team, which highlights the new shark-like character.

It is still unclear how powerful Shizuma is, however, from what fans have seen from him so far, he isn't an easy beat. Fans will get to see more from this villainous character in the coming episodes.
