Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode Preview Hints At A New Power

If you have been keeping up with Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, then you know the anime has done all it cans to harbor a secret. The show, which follows the eldest son of Naruto Uzumaki, has teased fans about Boruto’s strange power. Ever since the anime debuted, fans were told the hero could wield a powerful ocular jutsu. However, at this time, the young ninja can barely even call forth his power at will. Well, for now – that is.

In a new episode preview, it looks like Boruto finally gets the nerve to try and strut his strange jutsu in front of his parents. It’s a big enough deal that even Naruto’s attention is piqued by the revelation!

Next week, the eighth episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will debut. “The Dream’s Revelation” will follow Boruto after he has a strange dream in which someone teaches him about his ocular gift. And, in the episode’s newly released preview, fans can watch as Boruto prepares to use his mysterious power at will.

“Oh! I’ve got the weight of the world on my shoulders,” Boruto can be heard saying in a voiceover. “The pearl-colored nightmare has revealed my destiny! There’s nothing that can escape the Byakugan, the eye that unravels lies!”

Still, fans are more than sure that Boruto’s power has little to do with the Byakugan. While the ocular jutsu may look similar, their powers and abilities differ greatly. Currently, fans are far more inclined to believe that Boruto has unlocked the Tenseigan. But, for now, it looks like fans will have to wait a bit longer to get a true assessment of Boruto’s bloodline gift.
