Get ready Naruto and Boruto fans, as the next installment of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga novel is only a matter of days away now. The third novel will be a continuation of the “Academy/Opening” Arc, which will lead into the story about Nue and the class rep Sumire. A classmate of Boruto, Sumire is the daughter of one of the remaining Danzo loyalists and has been given the task of destroying Konoha by her late father.

The third novel is set to hit shelves for Boruto fans on September 4th, 2017. For the moment the novels are still trying to catch up to the anime and manga, with the anime in the Naruto Gaiden Arc. Meanwhile, for the manga, Boruto is already taking solo missions that can be considered jounin level missions.
These novels for the Naruto spin-off are written by Ko Shigenobu, as well as Masashi Kishimoto the original Naruto creator, illustrator Mikie Ikemoto and writer Uko Kodachi.
