Massive Cosplay Gathering Shuts Down Streets Of Japan

The Den Den Town has hosted one of the biggest gatherings of otaku in Japan every year. This year was the 13th iteration of the event, and cosplayers and Japanese gaming and pop culture fans flooded the closed down streets of Osaka.

Every spring cosplayers show off their beautiful costumes, network, take pictures and buy cool merchandise at the annual Nippombashi Street Festa. The event was on March 19, and we have collected some of the best cosplays that came out of the event. This year there were many costumes from popular games as well as anime, including strong showings from franchises such as Fate, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid, and of course Studio Ghibli.
