Digimon Adventure Tri. isn’t over yet - not by a mile. The popular revival has left nostalgic anime lovers thrilled with its new take on original Digimon Adventure characters. The 6-part film franchise follows DigiDestined heroes such as Tai as they reconnect with their digital monsters during high school. With the world endangered by a new digital virus, Tai must reunite with his friends to save both the real and digital worlds. This year, Japan will see the release of the fifth Digimon Adventure Tri. film, Symobiosis.

The previous Digimon Adventure Tri. films are currently streaming on Crunchyroll. The site has released each film in four episodic bits. The Digimon Adventure Tri. films were created to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Digimon Adventure anime which debut nearly 20 years ago. The original series by Akiyoshi Hongo ran for 54 episodes between 1999-2000 and was a huge success in the United States. The new film series will collect 6 features, and the first Digimon Adventure Tri. film will soon have its English dub released on Blu-ray and DVD.
