Krillin fans, listen up! It looks like the world’s greatest martial artist is making a comeback. And, no – we’re not talking about Mr. Satan or Yamcha. Of course, that title can only go to Krillin as the stocky warrior is as strong as he is short.

In an upcoming episode of Dragon Ball Super, Krillin will make a return to the franchise and get his fighting spirit back. Fans already knew that the hero would start training with Goku when the Saiyan grows bored. Now, a brand-new synopsis for the 76th episode has been released, and it teases that Krillin will make an awaited return to battle when Goku and he are pitted against former villains.

You can check out the new synopsis from Weekly Shonen Jump that fan-translator Todd Blankenship shared on Twitter. The episode is titled “Beat the Fearsome Foes! Kuririn’s Fighting Spirit Returns:”

“Former enemies await Goku and Kuririn!
Goku has gone with Kuririn to train again under the Turtle Hermit. The two of them are ordered to search for a medicine called “Paradise Grass”, and head for a frightful forest! There they end up fighting against illusions of the likes of Freeza and Majin Boo that suddenly appear…?!

What are these fearsome foes that they meet…?! Illusions of rivals suddenly appear?!
Freeza, Boo, Piccolo, and even Vegeta attack them!
Faced with these powerful enemies, Goku is thrilled while Kuririn is scared?!

Kuririn is gripped with fear at the prospect of fighting against his previously defeated rivals. Once he clears out these thoughts, the very next moment a change occurs in his enemies…!”

In February, Dragon Ball Super‘s story arc is set to kick off with the ‘Universal Survival’ saga. You can check out the brief synopsis for it below:

“At Goku’s request, the Omni-Kings’ “Tournament of Power” martial arts tournament between universes now begins! …But this also proves to be the beginning of universal destruction. What awaits the victors of this tournament, and the vanquished…?! How will these intense team battles between the elites of each universe turn out…?!”
