The clock is ticking on Dragon Ball Super as the Tournament of Power countdown has nearly finished. Last week, the anime followed Universe 7 as the gang ran into an unexpected team hurdle. In typical fashion, Goku and company learned Majin Buu would be unable to take part in the tournament after the alien fell into a ritual sleep which won’t end anytime soon. With little choice left, Goku made the decision to invite a rather unexpected fighter to join his team, and fans will get to meet the villain along with another much-anticipated fighter next week.

Dragon Ball Super will soon air its 93rd episode, and “You’re the 10th Warrior! Goku Visits Freeza!!” will introduce fans to Female Broly for the first time. The character was first seen in the teaser trailer for the anime’s ‘Universal Survival’ arc, and a full-on look at the stunning female Super Saiyan will debut on Saturday.
Of course, Female Broly won’t be the only shocking part of Dragon Ball Super‘s next episode. Fans already know that Goku has gone to recruit Freeza into the Tournament of Power, but audiences have yet to see the revived baddie just yet. The iconic villain is shown briefly in next week’s episode preview, and Freeze’s cold expression looks as if it was ripped right from Dragon Ball Z. Goku still looks calm about his choice to bring Freeza back to life, but the hero may not feel that way for long. Fans have been quick to point out that Freeza always has a trick up his sleeve, and Universe 7 will likely see itself survive the Tournament of Power only to have Freeza wreak havoc on it once again.

Dragon Ball Super‘s “Universal Survival” saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami will begin airing the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
