It’s been a long time coming, but Dragon Ball Super is making up for the anime‘s lady Saiyan deficit. This week, the show revealed the first-ever female Super Saiyan transformation thanks to Caulifla from Universe 6. However, there is still more to look forward. The next episode of Dragon Ball Super is slated to gift an even more terrifying Super Saiyan state to another female warrior, and the power-up will put the quiet Saiyan on pair with Broly.

Next week, Dragon Ball Super‘s 93rd episode will premiere, and the release is set to debut a character aptly known as Female Broly. The warrior, whose real name is Kale, was seen in the anime’s most recent episode observing Cabba from Universe 6 as he taught Caulifla to go Super Saiyan. Soon enough, the shy girl will ask the younger warrior to do the same for her, but Cabba has no idea what’s awaiting him when Kale manages to go berserk.

Fans first learned that Dragon Ball Super would be bringing in a female Super Saiyan who mirrored Broly months ago. When the anime teased its on-going ‘Universal Survival’ arc, a trailer was released which briefly showed Kale going Super Saiyan. Her resulting form made her look exactly like Broly when the Legendary Super Saiyan powered up, and fans were left stunned by the reveal. Now, audiences will get to see the female Saiyan step into the shocking state for the first time, and the historic moment will not be one fans can miss.
Dragon Ball Super‘s “Universal Survival” saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami will begin airing the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
