Tonight, Dragon Ball Super took a moment to remind fans of how savage Freeza can be. The villain gave Universe 7 a scare when he announced he had pledged loyalty with Frost of Universe 6. But, as fans had suspected, Freeza had a trick up his final form.
So, spoilers: Freeza played the double-agent card to knock Frost out of the Tournament of Power.
Dragon Ball Super’s episode left fans shocked when Freeza finally stood up to Frost. The villain went head-to-head against Gohan in a brutal match. Freeza entered his golden form, leaving Mystic Gohan to make an appearance as the pair dueled. Freeza seemed to have knocked out Gohan, but the villain pulled Frost aside before the warrior could physically haul Gohan from the arena.
Freeza beckoned Frost over to give him some tips. The Universe 6 warrior was all to happy to have his teacher notice him, so Frost dutifully transformed into a more buff form when taught. Freeza then gave Frost a series of battle tips before narrowing his eyes.
“Don’t trust anyone,” Freeza finished, and the villain then shot Frost out-of-bounds with a pointed laser blast.
Naturally, fans were left stunned by the character’s turnaround. Freeza went out of his way to convince Frost he was legit, and Gohan was even knocked out during the process – except he wasn’t. Fans watched as Gohan woke up, explaining how he noticed Freeza was holding back in battle. The Saiyan figured out his teammate’s plan and pretended to be knocked out to help Freeza. When the pair split up again, Gohan listens as Freeza says they’ll have to work together from her on out, but Universe 7 is more than wary of the resurrected villain. After the stunt he just pulled, it is difficult for any of Goku’s friends to trust Freeza anymore.
