‘Dragon Ball Super’ Reveals A Surprising New Fighter Is About To Debut

Dragon Ball Super got fans buzzing last weekend when it finally aired Goku’s long-awaited fight with Jiren, but the Tournament of Power has only just entered its climax. There is still plenty more battles awaiting audience as the show goes on, and it looks like a brand-new fighter is about to join the show.

Over on Twitter, fans were stunned when a series of new Dragon Ball figurines debuted their posters. The line showed characters like Ultra Instinct Goku, but fans were surprised when a mystery character was shown.

“A new warrior is joining the fray,” the character’s poster reads. “Stay tuned for more details.”

According to Todd Blankenship on Twitter, the poster says the blacked-out silhouette shown on the poster doesn’t reflect the actual product. However, fans do think they may have sussed out the secret behind the character.

After all, the poster’s silhouette does look very similar to someone fans have seen before.

The mystery figure doesn’t give off a definitive gender, but it does have a flat-looking chest. The character is also shown with a slender body and oblong head that looks remarkably close to what a smaller Jiren would be. The new real figure could be teasing that Jiren will display a new form that slims him down, but Toei Animation doesn’t want to spill those beans just yet.

Of course, there are fans thinking the fighter could be an entirely new person, but the feat would be hard to do. After all, all of the participants of the Tournament have been logged by Zeno on his God-Pad. Fans would have likely gotten a hint that the event’s roster was awry, so many believe the mystery silhouette simply belongs to a pre-existing character who has a new form. Saiyans like Cabba, Kale, and Caulifla could very well debut a new form or two during their next battles, so fans will just have to wait and see what happens as the show moves forward.
