Not long ago, Team Four Star finally released their latest “Dragon Ball Z Abridged” video and chose to dedicate it to Broly โ The Legendary Super Saiyan. Originally an anime feature, the fans recut and adapted the film into a hilarious, bite-sized look at the villain Broly. And, as expected, fans are loving the newly dubbed parody.
You can check out the description for “Dragon Ball Z Abridged” below:
“Dragonball Z Abridged Parody follows the adventures of Goku, Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo, Vegeta and the rest of the Z Warriors as they gather Dragonballs and fight intergalactic evil. With the comedic writings of Lanipator, Takahata101, and KaiserNeko this may not be the DBZ you remember but TFS hopes you enjoy it all the same. How high can the Krillin Owned Count get? Who will be the next to go Super Saiyan? Can Vegeta’s ego get any bigger? Find out NOW on DBZ Abridged!”
If you are not familiar with Broly, then you should know the character was designed by creator Akira Toriyama and stands as a polarizing figure amongst fans. The muscular Saiyan is a sworn enemy of Goku and has unique bloodline gift that allows him to enter the Legendary Super Saiyan state. Broly made his first appearance in Broly โ The Legendary Super Saiyan back in March 1993 before two more would bring the bulky baddie back.
In February, the newest Dragon Ball series will debut its brand-new ‘Universal Survival’ saga. You can check out its synopsis below, and no – it does not mention Broly at all:
“At Goku’s request, the Omni-Kings’ “Tournament of Power” martial arts tournament between universes now begins! โฆBut this also proves to be the beginning of universal destruction. What awaits the victors of this tournament, and the vanquishedโฆ?! How will these intense team battles between the elites of each universe turn outโฆ?!”
