The Creator Of ‘Fairy Tail’ Just Posted One Suggestive NaLu Sketch

Fairy Tail’s manga may have come to an end, but its creator is not done with Natsu yet. If you check out Hiro Mashima’s Twitter right now, you will find one – erm – interesting sketch of the Dragon Slayer with Lucy.

Earlier today, Mashima shared a color sketch he did of Natsu and Lucy that has shippers raving. The two may only be friends in Fairy Tail, but plenty of otakus have come to ship the mages over the years. The artist just excited those fans by posting a rather suggestive sketch of Natsu and Lucy.

The image, which can be seen below, shows Natsu in a black tank top getting into Lucy’s space. The boy is seen towering over Lucy as he presses the girl into a wall. Natsu has his fist leaning behind Lucy to trap her under him, and he has what many fans are calling a predatory gaze.

However, Natsu’s proximity to Lucy is the least racy thing about the image.

Fans are buzzing about Mashima’s kinky use of a collar on Lucy. Natsu is seen holding a chain that is attached to a metal choker around Lucky’s neck. The girl seems embarrassed by how close Natsu is thanks to her blush, and her pigtails given the Celestial Mage a sense of vulnerability. Of course, fans have also noted how itty-bitty Lucy’s white camisole is in the picture, and her lack of a bra was quickly pointed out by fans.

For NaLu shippers, the photo is giving them mixed signals. The final chapter of Fairy Tail did not show the couple professing any sort of love to one another. This sketch is the closest they have gotten to an outright confession. And, as you can see below, Twitter is freaking out about the suggestive photo.

The anime fandom is notorious for its shipping wars, but fans should remember this sketch is nothing but a fun doodle unless Mashima wants to retcon the ending of Fairy Tail. The way things look now, Natsu may be single forever.
