Ghost In The Shell Covers Total Film

The upcoming live-action Ghost in the Shell movie is featured on the cover of the next issue of Total Film magazine.

The cover features Scarlett Johansson as The Major, the cyborg leader of Section 9. See the full cover in the gallery below.

The Total Film cover follows a new Ghost in the Shell television spot that was released during Super Bowl LI.

Based on the internationally-acclaimed sci-fi property, Ghost in the Shell follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.

Ghost in the Shell is directed by Rupert Sanders and written by Jamie Moss and Ehren Kruger, based on the Japanese manga by Masamune Shirow.

Ghost in the Shell stars Scarlett Johansson, Michael Pitt, Pilou Asbæk, Chin Han and Juliette Binoche.

Ghost in the Shell opens in theaters on March 31, 2017.
