The positive responses to the new teaser were honestly few and far between. Many people ragged on the new movie for its casting of white actors, but there are some who seem pretty pumped about it.

Let's not forget, there is a silver lining to all of this. No matter how you feel about the new film. Willem Dafoe is voicing Ryuk - and that's something worth celebrating.
I've said this before, but William Dafoe as Ryuk will be the best thing about this Deathnote film.
