Isekai Quartet Season 3 Drops New Trailer Ahead of Fall Premiere

Isekai Quartet Season 3 will be not only featuring the returning franchises of Konosuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!, Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World-, Overlord, Saga of Tanya the Evil, and The Rising of the Shield Hero, but will be notably adding The Eminence of Shadow‘s cast of characters into the fray this time as well. This was the anime that had gotten some major attention since the release of the crossover’s second season and film, so it makes a ton of sense seeing its massive main cast join the roster of this growing crossover anime series next.

Representing The Eminence in Shadow, Isekai Quartet has also confirmed new additions to the voice cast for Season 3 including Seiichiro Yamashitaย as Cid Kagenou/Shadow, Inori Minaseย as Beta, Suzuko Mimoriย as Gamma, Fairouz Aiย as Delta, Hisako Kanemotoย as Epsilon, Ayaka Asaiย as Zeta, and Reina Kondoย as Eta. Each of the voice cast members from the previous seasons are set to return as well, and that’s one of the highlights for the crossover as it legitimately features all of the original characters that fans of each series would want to see.

Isekai Quartet is a rather special crossover. Not only is it highlighting some of the biggest Isekai anime properties running today, but it makes sure to highlight the more humorous side of each of the shows as well. It still takes itself seriously thanks to some of the franchises involved here, but it’s also allowed to lean more into the goofy side that fans of these franchises love to see. There’s not always a lot of time to spend on these lighter elements during the telling of a story, so this crossover makes use of its massive cast to find all kinds of new angles for jokes and stories that you couldn’t see elsewhere.

If you wanted to check it out in action for yourself, you can find both the first two seasons and movie now streaming exclusively with Crunchyroll. Isekai Quartet will be premiering on October 13th in Japan, but international streaming plans have yet to be announced for the new episodes as of the time of this writing.
