Author Kazuma Kamachi, most known for his work A Certain Magical Index, and Heavy Object, has big news for his fans. A Certain Magical Index is a widely popular manga in Japan, that has sold over 15 million copies. This lead to an anime adaptation, film, and it even appeared in a video game. Heavy Object also had a recent popular anime television series adaptation, and he has a large following eager for his new work.

Kazuma Kamchi has been publishing new light novels every month consistently for the last two years. However he announced he is taking a break this month, which left some fans with questions. The good news for his his fans, is that he will officially be returning to release a new novel volume in March. He asked followers to keep an eye on his website for more information about what is coming in the future. On Tuesday, the author teased that he will be launching a “Big Project” this year.

Kamachi has been exclusively publishing a zombie and vampire story on his personal website, and he updated it this month. His last novel series before his exclusivity with his website was Saikyou wo Kojiraseta Level Counter Stop Kenseijo Beatrice no Jakuten Sono Na wa “Buu Buu”, which featured illustrations by Mahaya and was a big hit with light novel fans.

Fans are speculating what the big project might be, and there are guesses and hops for A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 3 or Index 3. Railgun is a spin off that takes place during the same time and place as Magical Index. The series ended in 2013 and fans have been asking for another series ever since.
