This year, the Mnet Asian Music Awards made a shift and spread its line-up over several shows. The annual event kicked off this year in Vietnam before moving to Japan and then Hong Kong to celebrate all things k-pop. The three-night event saw dozens of performers take to the stage, but there were a few acts which simply stole the show.

When 2017 MAMA kicked off in Japan, the fandom was buzzing about Wanna One’s electric performance as well as Twice’s mash-up stage. The former group is a rookie one which is made up of winners of Produce 101. The idol reality series ended after it debuted the 11-member group, and the band’s energetic stage at the Mnet awards show stole hearts.

As for Twice, the girl group came to slay with a mash-up stage of their biggest hits. The JYP band got down with a dance remix before launching into their latest single “Likey” for their Japanese fans.

In Hong Kong, 2017 MAMA’s went out with a big bang thanks to two top-tier talents. EXO and BTS got social media rallying with their intense live stages. EXO took to the stage with a dance remix before their sultry choreography in “The Eve” kicked off. As for BTS, the global superstars ended the show with a mash-up stage that ended with an intense dance break to their “MIC Drop” remix with Steve Aoki.

If you want to check out some of the best stages for 2017 MAMA, you can look over a handful below. Mnet has also uploaded full clips of each performance online which can be found here.
