As Hidden Leaf Village enthusiasts wait for Naruto to return to the screen, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has been releasing monthly installments that further expand on the life of the Seventh Hokage’s son. Thanks to a spell placed upon the ninja world by Eida, the shonen protagonist has had friends turned into foes as Boruto Uzumaki experiences his own version of “Naruto: Shippuden.” Unfortunately for Sarada Uchiha, the daughter of Sasuke and Sakura, Boruto isn’t the only one who is dealing with the villainous Eida. A recently revealed love triangle has thrown a monkey wrench into the shonen series, and Sarada might not survive it.

Warning. If you have yet to read the latest chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Chapter 26, be forewarned that we’ll be diving into serious spoiler territory. In the previous manga chapter, Sarada and Kakei had an in-depth discussion where they both shared their feelings for Boruto. The youngest Uchiha believes that her feelings for the manga’s star will assist her in becoming the next Hokage, while also forging a close bond with Boruto during their missions. Unfortunately for Sarada, this love triangle might spell doom for her thanks to Eida and her curiosity.
Eida might have the power to rewrite the minds of those around her, helping to create Boruto’s troubling new status, but she is also able to “charm” anyone she comes into contact with. While those who have ties to the Otsusuki can escape this fate, Sarada and Kakei have been, mysteriously, able to dodge Eida’s charms as well. In discussing the current love triangle with Kakei and Sarada directly, Eida puts the pieces together that they are not charmed by her power, and things go from bad to worse.
Eida And Daemon: The Dangerous Duo
One of the big reasons that Eida manages to figure out the truth is thanks to Sarada and Keiko simply not being that obsessed with the former Kara member. As Eida explains, the cat has been let out of the bag, “By the way, sorry to break the mood, but speaking of love, I ask again, you two aren’t captivated by me, are you? I mean, it’s obvious. How else are you able to talk about liking someone other than me, in front of me? It simply isn’t possible, at all.”
Before Sarada has the opportunity to “pop” her Sharingan and launch an attack, Daemon springs into action, grabbing both her and Keiko’s necks. One of the scariest things about Eida’s brother isn’t just his amazing strength; it’s his power that means all damage is reflected off his person. This means that he is, in essence, invincible and the ninjas of Konoha have yet to figure out a way past his defenses. Even though Daemon and Eida are technically the Hidden Leaf’s allies, it’s clear that the former Kara Organization members might be far more trouble than their “friendship” is worth.
