Star Wars’ Coolest Show Drops New Trailer Ahead of Fall 2025 Return: Watch

Star Wars is returning to the world of anime with a brand new anthology of episodes, and now fans have gotten a fresh look at what to expect from these anime studios with a brand new trailer revealing the stacked voice cast behind it all. Star Wars has been experimenting with its franchise in quite a few ways over the years. Not only are there new movies on the way to screens, but there are also various projects now in stages of production for a release in the near future. But none of them beat out the coolest experiment seen yet.

Star Wars: Visions is a special anthology series that recruits notable anime studios from across Japan for their takes on the franchise. These shorts have been entirely original as they offer new stories from across this wide universe of the franchise, and two volumes of shorts have been released thus far. With a third volume coming to Disney+ later this October, Star Wars: Visions has dropped a new trailer showing off the best look at this next wave of anime shorts yet. Check it out in action below.

Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 Reveals New Trailer and Voice Cast

Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 will be making its debut with Disney+ worldwide on October 29th. It will include nine different shorts from different anime studios, and some of which will even serve as sequels to previous shorts seen in the anthology before. Disney has revealed the full voice cast, staff and the names for each of the shorts, and they breakdown as such:

  • โ€œThe Duel: Paybackโ€ (Kamikaze Douga + ANIMA) – Takanobu Mizuno will direct a voice cast that includes Brian Tee, Will Sharpe, Suzy Nakamura, Jonathan Lipow, Minami Iinuma, Gary Littman, Yukihiro Nozuyama, Shawn Gann, Major Attaway, Andrew Kishino, Patrick Seitz, Lee Shorten, Frank Todaro, David Chen, Nozomi Furuki, Ayaka Shimizu, and Kaede Yuasa
  • ย โ€œThe Song of Four Wingsโ€ (Project Studio Q) – Hiroyasu Kobayashiย will direct a voice cast including Stephanie Hsu, Aki Toyosaki, Trevor Devall, Jennie Kwan, James Sie, and David Errigo Jr.
  • โ€œThe Ninth Jedi: Child of Hopeโ€ (Production I.G) – Naoyoshi Shiotaniย will direct a voice cast including Kimiko Glenn, Freddie Highmore, Masi Oka, Andrew Kishino, Patrick Seitz, Major Attaway, Frank Todaro, Simu Liu, Lee Shorten, David Chen, and Carrie Keranen
  • โ€œThe Bounty Huntersโ€ (WIT Studio) – Junichi Yamamoto will direct a cast including Earl Baylon, Anna Sawai, Ronny Chieng, Joseph Lee, Jodie Turner-Smith, Zoe Rux, Carrie Keranen, David Chen, Major Attaway, Joy Ofodu, and Frank Todaro
