The Most Powerful Naruto Characters

Naruto is one of the most popular and best selling anime and manga franchises of all time.

Its popularity is due, in large part, to the loveable characters and the perfect mixture of insane fighting and comedic hijinks. The original manga was first published in the Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999 and the original anime was first aired in Japan in 2002.

It tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a young (and often immature) ninja who is constantly striving for recognition and has big dreams of becoming the Hokage, or the leading ninja in his village who is the strongest of all. Along the way, there are others who wish to prove themselves as the strongest, as well as other hostile ninja factions.

There are more than 50 characters in the Naruto Series, and each one has their own special power and skills. Some are stronger than others, but the strongest does not always win, and we see this time and time again with countless battles and fights between the ninja factions. But who is the most power of all the ninjas?

5. Hamura Otsutsuki

Twin brother of Hagoromo Otsutsuki and revered as one of the most powerful figures in history, he defeated the Ten-Tails in battle alongside his brother.

He also inherited his mother’s powerful chakra and was able to transcend time well after his death to talk with others and bestow power to them, using his chakra to manifest his form even centuries after his death.

Hamura’s special chakra properties also made him the only one of his descendants who was able to naturally and independently manifest the Reincarnation, while also making him the only who could destroy it, which makes him a force to be reckoned with. 

4. Sasuke

Sasuke is the avenger of his clan and cannot be stopped until he reaches his goal of revenge. He has self taught himself many of his clan’s techniques, and his abilities are acknowledged at a young age. He graduates top of his class at the academy, and many other strong ninjas comment on his power when he is young. Similarly to Naruto his will and mental fortitude really drives his strength and makes him a force to be reckoned with. Sasuke chakra is quite strong and has shown the ability to sense other people’s chakra levels. 

3. Naruto

The protagonist of the series, the nine-tail fox, and a unstoppable determination to protect his friend and become the very best. He not only is powerful because of his essentially unlimited Chakra, but also because of his determination and will. Throughout the series we see Naruto grow into his powers and become one of the most powerful ninjas of all time.

2. Hagoromo Ootsutsuki

He is the man known as the Sage of Six Paths, he is the one who created the original form of the ninja arts, and essentially the master of all them. He is widely accepted to be the most powerful figure in history, even though little is known about all of the skills he possess. Hagoromo is revered as a god for the countless things he has done and the power he holds. 

1. Princess Kaguya Ōtsutsuki

Kaguya is the mother of two of the most powerful people in Naruto, the Sage of Six paths and Hamura. She has the ability to manifest at her own will, and create life to serve for her. Kaguya is also immortal, she shows that she able to regenerate lost anatomy, and can manipulate nature itself. Her godlike power and invincibility makes her the most powerful Naruto Character of all time (even though she is sealed away by her children). Also she just looks badass
