Sailor Moon fans hold on to your wands, because the official Sailor Moon fan club is now accepting applications for this year. The franchise has one of the most loyal and passionate fan-bases, and the Pretty Guardians (the name of the official fan club) are looking for new members for 2017-2018.

The Pretty Guardians is a Japanese-administered club that has fans from all over the world. This is the second year of the clubs existence, as it formed just last spring. Memberships for the club are good for a year, and English-language sign ups are available. Like any reputable official fan club, there is a price for being included in the army of magical girls, as well as special benefits. There is a new flier that the organization has released to show off the new benefits and pricing for the new year 2017.
If your application is accepted and you get in the magical organization you get three exclusive items immediately. First you get a numbered Pretty Guardians membership cart, with an illustration drawn by Naoko Takeuchi herself. The photo is a beautiful galaxy image of Princess Serenity. Not only will you get an exclusive card, but also a pendant styled Sailor Moon’s magic Moon Stick. Returning members will also receive a Sailor Moon stationery set, which resembles what was given away back with the original manga.
But that’s not all you will receive with your membership, there are other exclusive benefits for Pretty Guardians as well. Members will receive a quarterly newsletter, a member-exclusive merchandise store, advance tickets to the live-action Sailor Moon stage musicals, and member only fan events. Members also get access to an online radio station hosted by Sailor Moon herself, voice actress Kotono Mitsuishi’s Kotono Misuishi’s Punishment Radio.
The Pretty Guardians are accepting applications from over 120 countries around the world, including the U.S, Canada, Mexico, Australia and many more. The English-language membership application can be filled out over at Tokyo Otaku Mode, and is priced at $58.
