Marvel Comics has supplied Comicbook.com with an exclusive first look at legendary artist Bruce Timm’s Invincible Iron Man #1 variant cover.
As eagle-eyed readers can tell, Timm’s cover pays homage to the first-ever issue of Invincible Iron Man, from 1968. Illustrated by legendary artist Gene Colan, the original cover is one of the most iconic Iron Man’s history. So it’s a good thing Marvel contracted Timm, a comics icon in his own right, to recreate the image.
