Vacations are supposed to be revitalizing, where the day to day activities of work, finance, and politics are thrown to the side in lieu of relaxing activities like going to the beach, fine dining, and watching endless reruns of The Golden Girls on Hallmark channel. Unfortunately, for the couple in Tru Dot Films’ Living Space, that is sadly not the case.

The new horror film from Tru Dot centers around a young couple who mistakenly think that a vintage German cottage will be just the vacation they need. An undead SS officer and some creepy kids were not in the Travelocity brochure, however, and you can view the first teaser trailer for the project above. You can find the official synopsis below.

The story follows college sweethearts Brad (Leigh Scully) and Ashley (Georgia Chara), who venture into the heartland of Germany. Their romantic holiday takes a sinister turn when encountering a German SS Officer (McPhee) and his family (Anderson and Leonard), thrusting them into a psychological vortex of horror, revealing there is not always life in a ‘Living Space’.

Living Space is being developed by Tru Dot Films with a screenplay by Steven Spiel (of Tru Dot). Natalie Forward of Tru Dot is producing, who previously worked on the popular web series Haunted or Hoax. The film also boasts a talented crew of creatives, including cinematographer Branco Grabovac (Witches), special effects artist Steven Boyle (The Hobbit, Daybreakers, Star Wars, The Matrix), production designer Das Patterson (The Dressmaker, The Legend of Ben Hall), and costume designer Chloe Greaves (Cop Hard).

Living Space is directed by Steven Spiel and stars Georgia Chara (Ashley), Emma Leonard (House Keeper), Andy McPhee (Officer), Jolene Anderson (Officer’s Wife), Leigh Scully (Brad), Ayrton Burridge, Emma Burnside (Isabel), Erik Vent (Sebastian), Charlotte McLeod (Child Two), Amelia Ayris (Child One), Boris Granolic, Amy Elizabeth Price, Chris Burson, Georgia Lynch, and Benjamin Sirolli.

Living Space is slated to hit sometime this fall.
