It seems almost every day there’s a new rumor or sighting that suggests Jon Snow will be alive and well in Season 6 of Game of Thrones, with even actor Kit Harrington seeming to let the truth slip out in an interview. Harrington’s co-star Maisie Williams says that’s simply not the case.

Speaking to TV Line from the red carpet at the Emmys, Williams says that Jon Snow is indeed dead, and that the interview where Harrington is accused of spoiling Snow’s return is “totally false.”
“He’s dead. Sorry,” she said. “And the interview you’ve all read that thinks that Kit [Harington] spoiled it is fabricated.”
As for Williams’ own character, Snow’s half-sister Arya Stark, Williams teased that she may be “fighting blind,” which makes sense after what occurred in the Season 5 finale.
