Mark Ruffalo, the leading man behind the Incredible Hulk’s smaller, less-green alter ego Bruce Banner, says that while his character became a fan-favorite in Marvel’s The Avengers, it’s unlikely we’ll see a big-screen solo film anytime soon.”I think they’ve done it. I think they feel that they’ve done that,” Ruffalo told MTV News at the Toronto Film Festival (video embedded below). “I think they don’t really know where to go [with the character].”It’s probably a fair assessment, given the failure of not one but two previous films based on the character using a pair of different actors. There’s also the challenge of trying to make a feature film while a TV show is in active development (and potentially in production by the time the script is written). That’s a challenge that would be unique to The Incredible Hulk as far as Marvel is concerned, although it looks as though Wonder Woman will have a similar issue should the movie ever get off the launchpad.
