After playing Fish Mooney in the first season of Gotham, Jada Pinkett Smith is still interesting in rejoining the DC Comics universe, just a different version of it.
It turns out that Smith is a big fan of the DC Comics character Vixen, and would love to see her appear in a Suicide Squad movie sequel.

“There’s a character that I love in the DC World, her name is Vixen,” Smith tells MTV. “Probably haven’t heard much of her. She’s kind of in that Suicide Squad world as well. I love Vixen. If there was any character, I would love to play her. I’m going to have to put my little word in with the director. ‘Vixen for Suicide Sqaud 2.’”
Smith’s husband, Will Smith, is starring as Deadshot in the currently filming first Suicide Squad movie, so director David Ayer’s ear shouldn’t be too hard to find.
Vixen will appear in an animated series connected to the The CW’s DC Comics television universe (The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow), set to run on CW Seed.
