In honor of their 70th Anniversary, Marvel Comics is going to be putting out some variant covers to pay homage to the coolest and most controversial fashions, music and cultural quirks from last seven decades. The covers are being called 70th Anniversary Decade Variants, and they will initially highlight the eighties and the nineties. Marvel Comics fans will be treated to seeing War Machine grunging out on a Fender Jaguar and Rogue vogue-ing it up. The 70th Anniversary Decade Variant covers will be released in June and July. The official 70th Anniversary of Marvel Comics takes place on August 11th.The All-New Savage She-Hulk #3 will be written by Fred Van Lente with pencils by Peter Vale and Michael Ryan. The regular cover will be by Paul Renaud, and the 90s decade variant cover will be by Juan Doe. The All-New Savage She-Hulk #3 is scheduled to hit comic book stores on June 17, 2009.
