When BOOM! made the initial announcement they released five comic book covers with a Power Ranger — Blue, Pink, Yellow, Black and Red — on each. Now, thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we have our first look at the sixth cover — designed by artist Goรฑi Montes.
According to EW, The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers loyal fan base “can expect the debut of issue #0 in January” and it will include a short story written by Mairghread Scott (Transformers: Windblade) and illustrated by Daniel Bayliss (Translucid) — first seen at San Diego Comic Con.
The series itself is being written by Kyle Higgins (Batman Eternal, Nightwing). Who is illustrating it? That person will be revealed at a later date.
