One of the most memorable moments from 2017’s Academy Awards ceremony (aside from Suicide Squad taking home an award) was catching Ryan Reynolds leaning over in the front row to drop a kiss on former Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield.

The Deadpool actor was caught in the act when cameras from the stage’s perspective had him and Garfield in their frame, being broadcast nationwide and sending Twitter into a frenzy.
Speaking to Reynolds at a press event for his upcoming Life movie, Reynolds was asked which actor is a better kisser: Andrew Garfield or Jake Gyllenhaal. Like most of the conversation with Reynolds at the event, the question started out as a joke seeing as Reynolds probably never kissed Gyllenhaal and does not in their Life movie. Still, the actor took the question and ran with it.
“Jake’s weird,” Reynolds said. “Jake has an opposable tongue on his thumb. It’s like a joint, not the kind you smoke.”
“He thinks it’s my tongue but it’s the back of my neck,” Gyllenhaal added.
“Andrew Garfield is just cheating because he’s got this weird tractor beam,” Reynolds concluded. “I couldn’t help myself.”
“Every press junket I do with Ryan, feels like we’re in zero gravity,” Gyllenhaal joked. “Zero gravity, zero personality.” On the contrary, the two actors have been in the spotlight all week long for the hilarious interviews which have come from their Life press junket. Fox’s Kevin McCarthy attempted to discuss the film with the two actors and found himself laughing with the hilarious duo throughout his brief interview time, resulting in millions of views across the web and countless shared laughs with fans.
