Comic-Con today gave fans their first look at the 2013 Comic-Con Souvenir Book, featuring a new Sandman cover by Dave McKean, celebrating both the twentieth anniversary of the critically-acclaimed series and its prequel series coming soon from DC Comics.Recent comments from DC have drawn attention back to the project, which has been simmering quietly in the background since it was announced last year. Expect an announcement soon, either in the October solicitations or else at Comic-Con, that should give fans an idea for the prequel’s start date.In fact, the book will feature a number of “anniversary”-centric features, including:
