Disney’s live-action fairy tale revolution continues with a new take not on Snow White directly, but on her sister, Rose Red. The film places Rose Red into the original Snow White and the Seven Dwarves story, adding her into the third act of the tale, THR reports.

The script is by Justin Merz and Evan Daugherty, based on the character of Rose Red from Grimm’s Fairy Tales. In the story, after Snow White takes the bite of the poison apple, Rose Red teams with Grumpy and the dwarves to find a way to break the curse.
Daugherty has already worked in a live-action Snow White world, having written Snow White and the Huntsman. Producer Trip Vinson is also working on two other fairy tale films for Disney, Genies and Prince Charming. No timeframe was given for Rose Red‘s release.
