While promoting Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets, actor Cara Delevingne expressed a willingness to return to the role of June Moon AKA Enchantress, but doubted it would actually happen.

“Pretty sure [I’m not returning]. It was a life-changing experience and of course I’d do another one, but I don’t think it would make sense for the character,” Delevingne said to USA Today. “I’ll probably still be on the set hanging out with everyone.”

Delevingne’s character was possessed by the Enchantress’ spirit and ended up betraying the Suicide Squad and attempted to eradicate humanity, becoming the film’s main villain by the end of the movie. The threat was stopped when the curse was lifted from June Moon, taking away her abilities.

But given that there are so many things up in the air regarding the Suicide Squad sequel, such as a director, a script, and a release date, we’re not inclined to say it’s impossible just yet.

Maybe we will hear more at this weekend’s Warner Bros. panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

Suicide Squad is now available on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD.
