With Justice League still a few weeks from hitting theaters DC fans have been enjoying every look they can get at the upcoming superhero film and today they’re getting a new, behind the scenes look at The Flash showing the speedster on Batman‘s turf.
Shared by Zack Snyder on his Vero account the photo reveals a ready for action The Flash (Ezra Miller) and while it’s not totally clear specifically where the speedster is — it appears he may be in a subway area or a substation of sorts — the writing literally on the wall indicates he’s in Gotham. The Flash appearing in Gotham makes a lot of sense considering that it’s Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) who recruits Barry Allen. It’s also a fitting bit of symmetry, considering that we’ve seen in a recent Mercedes-Benz Justice League featurette that Bruce pays Barry a visit in The Flash’s traditional hometown of Central City.
And speaking of Batman, this new look at The Flash isn’t the only behind the scenes gem Snyder shared today. In addition to the Gotham photo, Snyder also posted a photo of Batman holding Aquaman’s trident, a photo made all the more exciting considering that it’s been teased in trailers that the Aquaman will lend the Caped Crusader the trident and the final trailer itself has revealed a certain King of the Seven Seas doing a little car surfing of sorts on the hood of the Batmobile.
Fans will just have to wait until Justice League hits theaters to find out exactly what The Flash is doing in Gotham, but fortunately they won’t have to wait too much longer. Tickets are available for purchase now and the film opens in theaters November 17th.
