After the 100th (and crossover) episode of Arrow aired last week, we aren't sure if Arrow could possibly get any better!
However, the midseason finale "What We Leave Behind" looks pretty promising. The episode will bring back psychologial villain Prometheus who somehow knows every detail about the new Team Arrow, including where they live and their true identities.
The episode also has a big task of wrapping up all of the flashbacks.
Even Stephen Amell himself said this is the episode that he is most proud of.
"Maybe. I can tell you that Artemis plays a big, big role in our fall finale which airs this Wednesday. I know sometimes I say this, but it's probably the episode I'm most proud of this year."
He continued, saying, "Does it have the history and the characters and all of the things that the 100th episode has? No, of course not. That would be impossible, but I'm so proud of that episode."
In the latest Inside Arrow clip, Wendy Mericle executive producer reveals a shocking detail about Prometheus:
"We come to discover that Prometheus is really a creation of Oliver's. His actions in the past really speak to who Promethus has become and the flashbacks in this episode really speak to that. We always wanted to go back to Arrow season 1 there were so many stories to tell, this is our opportunity to go back and tell them."
It sounds like Oliver Queen's past has come back to haunt him in the form of...Promethuse. Is this someone or something he used to know?
We'll find out tonight!
"PROMETHEUS MAKES A DEADLY MOVE AGAINST OLIVER AND THE TEAM — After Prometheus attacks Curtis (Echo Kellum), Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes Prometheus knows all of Team Arrow's secret identities and is planning to come for them one by one. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Detective Malone (guest star Tyler Ritter) discover a clue that links Prometheus to Oliver's past."
