It's now just a week until Christmas Day and even in Gotham City Christmas cheer can be heard.
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert brought some of that Gotham City Christmas spirit to its show last week. Jon Batiste has no love for the Batman Christmas carol sung to the tune of "Jingle Bells" - "Jingle Bells, Batman Smells," etc. - and so he decided to make a better Batman Christmas carol by inserting Batman into every possible Christmas carol, or at least the ones that exist in public domain.
Batiste's medley included Batman takes on "The First Noel" ("The first Batman was Adam West…), "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" ("Arkham's hero, Batman sings…), and "Angels We Have Heard On High" ("Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Lego Batman Will Arnett...").
You can check out the medley in the video above.

Batman will return in Justice League. Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League will open in theaters on November 17, 2017.
