Since Batman is Patrick Tatopoulos‘s favorite superhero, he didn’t have to think twice when Zack Snyder asked him to be his Production Designer on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He was so excited about the opportunity, he began sketching designs for the new Batmobile immediately. After only 15-minutes, he came up with design that would later be approved by Snyder.
Now that the film is out, Tatopoulos has been sharing Batman v Superman concept art and behind-the-scenes photos. There’s early concept art of Batman’s apocalyptic nightmare. There’s a new look at Bruce Wayne’s glasshouse, which Tatopoulos says was inspired by German-American architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and German painter Ferdinand Keller. We also get a couple of new snaps from the day the first official image of Batman (Ben Affleck) and his new ride was taken.
